Come hear the internationally accomplished concert pianist, Tavit Tashjian, make a special solo concert appearance, along with a sponsored barbeque reception and art show, on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the First Christian Church in Scottsdale. Tavit has soloed with symphonies across the United States and is receiving accolades for his performances, which have been praised as "brilliant" and "energetic and virtuosic." Our last Tavit Tashjian quickly sold out.
In addition to the concert, there will be a special art show featuring fine art presentations by prominent artists of paintings, drawings, jewelry and specialty gift items. The artists and arts groups are collaborating together to raise funds under a program called "ArtWürks for Charity", which will dedicate 100% of net proceeds to support nonprofit programs that are creating jobs and providing therapeutic music and dance enrichment activities for vulnerable groups, such as persons with developmental disabilities. The Phoenix Ivy Council is partnering with General Motors and several other corporate sponsors to offer tasty barbeque and a healthy assortment of appetizers for a special alumni reception before the concert.
The cost for the concert, art show and barbeque reception for our alumni is at special discounted price of only $30. Please purchase tickets in advance since our last ArtWürks for Charity Concert and Art Show with Tavit Tashjian quickly sold out.
