Penn ED tents ready for COVID-19 surge

Bracing for a large influx of patients potentially infected with the novel coronavirus, hospitals across Penn Medicine have put up emergency tents in which patients can be identified and sorted before entering the facilities. People with mild symptoms can get tested and sent home, leaving space inside for more severe cases of COVID-19. |
