For student-athletes, sports leadership, policy makers, and anyone who loves college sports, Dr. Kenneth Shropshire will discuss his plan, which has the potential to disrupt college sports and create lasting change. Dr. Shropshire is a Wharton Professor Emeritus who served for over 30 years as the David W. Hauck Professor at the Wharton School in the department of legal studies and business ethics and also served as the director of the Wharton Sports Business Initiative.
Currently, Professor Shropshire is the first Adidas Distinguished Professor of Global Sport and the founding CEO of the Global Sport Institute, with additional appointments at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Management, the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, as well as the African and African American Studies program in the School of Social Transformation.
