Michael E. Newton is a leading scholar on Alexander Hamilton and his Alexander Hamilton: The Formative Years has been called the definitive book on Hamilton's origins, youth, and service during the American Revolution. A graduate of Arizona State University and resident of Phoenix, Michael Newton is also the author of The Path to Tyranny: A History of Free Society's Descent into Tyranny and Angry Mobs and Founding Fathers: The Fight for Control of the American Revolution.
