460.jpgDid You Know...

that Penn is at the top of the list for U.S. colleges and universities that use the most green power? The EPA's Green Power Partnership Program ranks campuses quarterly and includes those with their own on-site renewable energy, as well as those whose energy is supplied by green-powered partners. Green power represents an impressive 51% of the University's total electricity use! Penn is currently working toward earning "Green Office Certification" status for the Sweeten Alumni House by Earth Day, April 22, 2015.

To achieve this goal, they plan to complete various eco-friendly tasks, such as: implementing recycling programs, providing regular updates/info on eco-friendly commuter options, and powering down electronics within the building at the end of the work day.
