Treasurer Martin has substantially overhauled the office and its management. In the first quarter of fiscal year ’08 the office made $143 million dollars on its investments vs the previous year’s $108 million, a 32% increase. That is pretty much unheard of increases. The treasurer will talk about how the state has done that in the context of his safety before liquidity before yield philosophy.
