Did You Know… that Factcheck.org, the
site that monitors the factual accuracy of political campaigns’ TV ads,
debates, speeches, interviews and news releases, is run by Penn’s Annenberg Public
Policy Center? Frequently cited in news articles, FactCheck.org
is nonpartisan and nonprofit and, “aims to reduce the level of deception
and confusion in U.S. politics.” The new
Annenberg Public Policy Center building is being built on the old site of Penn
Hillel and is scheduled to open in the summer of 2009.
